2015 “Project Runway®” Winner to Join Custom Made-to-Measure Fashion Marketplace with Exclusive Luxury Dresses and Creations
Chicago, IL (September 18, 2019) – Balodana, a leading custom, made-to-measure fashion marketplace, has announced today that fashion designer and 2015 Project Runway® winner Ashley Nell Tipton will offer an exclusive custom, made-to-measure couture collection on Balodana. The designer, who gained explosive popularity following her debut on the Emmy award-winning reality television show, will accept a limited range of orders for the new collection on the popular marketplace. It is Tipton’s first custom, made-to-measure offering.

Tipton gained international notoriety as the first plus-size designer to win Project Runway®. She began making her first collections at the age of seven and holds an AA in Fashion Design and Technology from Fashion Careers College. Her senior collection at Fashion Careers College was highlighted in the annual Golden Hanger Fashion Awards, and showed at New York’s Full Figured Fashion Week in 2012. She has created plus size designs and products for major brands including Simplicity, as well as her own fashion and accessories line.
